Tips

This 'H' or 'dog bone' shape Aluminium Backplate by Tecline is light weight and compact, perfect for building a travel BC.

All you need to create a travel BC is a Donut Wing, harness, and two tank bands. A single tank adapter (STA) is not required as this backplate has a concave spine, shaped to act as the STA.

For the wing, it has standard holes, centres are spaced 11" / 27.5cm apart. Use the Velcro straps provided with a Tecline harness and there is no need for bolts.

The backplate also has holes for attaching a matching Tecline soft back pad and other accessories.
