Plastic Inflator Valve for SMB.
Replace a damaged SMB inflator valve with this all-plastic valve.
Many SMBs can be orally inflated or inflated using a BCD hose that has a standard quick release (QR) attachment. Often it's the small square end (that presses the valve in the end of the LP inflator hose) that gets broken off. The collar on the valve is threaded, screwing it out allows you to restrict the air flow into the SMB.
The SMB inflator is a two-part system. The two parts are called the 'Buoy Inflator Valve' (this product) and the 'Buoy Inflator Tube' (a separate product). This valve is the part you put your mouth on, or what the BCD hose connects to. See image below.
